Covering the St Kilda Beaches
3182 St Kilda Beach Patrol looks after St Kilda Beaches, from St Kilda Marina in the south all the way to West Beach. These are some of the busiest beaches on Port Phillip Bay and include iconic locations such as St Kilda Skate Park, St Kilda Pier, Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, West Beach Pavilion and St Kilda foreshore reserve.
St Kilda’s beaches capture a lot of litter and joining us for a monthly clean is a great way to contribute to the community and help keep marine birds and animals safe. If you live in 3182 or just love St Kilda beach and want to meet some enthusiastic like-minded people who care for the beach and bay then contact the 3182 Beach Patrol and join us on our monthly beach cleans, at 9am on the second Saturday of each month.
We clean one of three sections of the beach for an hour, we then audit the litter collected and enter on the Litter Stopper app. Afterwards we might stop for a well-earned coffee at one of the beach side cafes and we love to get involved in other local activities like tree planting or supporting penguin habitat.
Bring your own gloves. Collection bags and litter pickers are provided.
Follow us on social media. We look forward to seeing you!
