Standard BP/LOS Clean 12 Elwood Pier Thank you to our Beach Patrollers, who last sunny Saturday, gave Elwood Beach 13 hours of care and attention and hauled 13 kgs of rubbish, weighted mostly from the chair and bike in the photo attached (a special thank you to the swimmers who pulled these out from the water for us) and the remaining included smaller invasive items such as soft plastics and lots of small broken bits of polystyrene. We also counted 1 glass bottle, 1 metal can, 2 coffee cups, 8 plastic bottles, 12 disposable face masks and a couple of our patrollers counted 439 cigarette butts.
