Chelsea BeachPatrol cares for the beautiful stretch of Port Philip coastline from Edithvale to Patterson River. This part of the Longbeach coastline is known for its crystal clear waters, warm safe shallows and vast stretch of soft white sand. This area attracts many visitors all year round, who are captivated by our stunning beach, whether it is bathed in gorgeous sunshine or windswept on a stormy day.

While areas of the beach are groomed by machine, some litter remains. Chelsea Beach Patrol aims to take the regular beach grooming a step further by gathering our team of volunteers once a month to make sure the beach is looking beautiful for all members of the public to enjoy. We also aim to reduce the impact of human activity on the natural flora and fauna of the Chelsea foreshore and Port Philip Bay.
