| Partial Audit | 1185 | Ripponlea Station and surrounds, JGS🐧 | What glorious day on Sunday for our team of 14 dedicated volunteers, including two new people and one returning after being unable to join in for a while. A fantastic effort removing 27 kg of rubbish from the streets and lanes of Ripponlea Village, with one volunteer going solo in Balaclava. Thank you everyone. 💚🐬🐧🐟💙🙏 And then we enjoyed a coffee and a chat. ☕️☕️ 🙂 Key items: 41 drink bottles and cans 36 plastic bottle tops 38 coffee cups and lids 20 lollipop sticks 14 sauce sachets and fish 8 syringes (some unused, still packaged) 1015 cigarette butts Also: a backpack, a car mat, underwear and a suitcase. The litter we pick up is mostly single-use plastic items like those above and confectionery wrappers, wipes and polyester serviettes. Please help reduce single-use by choosing alternatives. We submitted 4 SnapSendSolve reports regarding various dumped rubbish. | ||||
