| Partial Audit | 1366 | Balaclava Station and surrounds, JGS🐧 | Yeay! The sunshine was very welcome as fourteen volunteers took action to clean up litter from Balaclava. It was a pleasure to welcome three new volunteers. Altogether, we collected 41 kg of rubbish, mostly plastic. Key stats: 53 drink bottles and cans (refunds paid to BeachPatrol to help our organisation); 36 plastic bottle tops; 39 single-use coffee cups and lids; 28 sauce sachets and fish; 1192 cigarette butts; 3 loose syringes and a personal sharps container with syringes; a dumped CD player (to go to e-waste disposal). It's great to have volunteers dedicated to keeping this waste from harming our creatures and from polluting our neighbourhood. Thank you all. 🙏💙🐬🐟🦆🐧💚👍 | ||||
