Full Audit Clean	603	Fisherman's Beach, Mornington 3931, JGS🐧	A perfect morning for a beach clean in Mornington with seven terrific Corporate Volunteers from Gorilla Glue. The team recorded over 460 plastic items including over 200 cigarette butts (right near a seabird roosting site), 52 pieces of polystyrene, nearly 200 hard and soft plastic fragments, 37 food wrappers and 19 building waste items. The plastic fragments prove the point that plastic breaks up, into ever-smaller pieces and microplastics; it doesn't break down. Also collected were hair ties, socks and other clothing, a shoe and a vape, as well as non-plastic rubbish. The seal on the boat ramp and other local wildlife will be safer now.
