BP 3931 Covering the Mornington Beaches

3931 Beach Patrol

Mornington is the place to be! You are surrounded by beauty all the year through. Friendly residents and that’s not just the people, but the local stingrays that come in the bay. Holiday makers flock here for our beautiful pristine beaches and we have the upmost pleasure of calling it home! My 6 year old son Harrison is the brains behind Mornington BeachPatrol.

We regularly clean the beaches all over the peninsula and he asked if we could get other people to help us. So with the help, support and encouragement off a few people here we are! We will meet the second Sunday of every month at either Fisherman’s Beach, Mother’s Beach or Mills Beach from 9am for a 1 hour clean up. Be ready for lots of family friendly fun, fresh air, exercise and some good old hunting for rubbish!

Fishermans Beach, Mornington by 3931@beachpatrol.com.au
Today was a good day for fishermans beach compared to the last time we cleaned it, with just 9.1kg of rubbish collected. I think this is the least amount of rubbish that's been collect since I've been doing it. On a sad note though a penguin was washed up. I took it to the vets to be scanned and logged.
