A chilly June day greeted our volunteers today.   At least 45 people, but they were coming and going making it tricky to keep track of them all.

We collected 18 bags of rubbish and 35 bottles & cans.

3207 Extra Clean after Plastic deluge washes ashore by information@beachpatrol.com.au

Melbourne city had one of its largest wash outs of plastic from the By in recent years this past weekend.  The Port Melbourne beaches were horrific.    One of the political parties wanted us to help them make a video of the plastic bottles washed in.  Along 40 m and over 20 mins we collected 4 bags of rubbish to audit.

3207 BP Extra clean in Beacon Cove by information@beachpatrol.com.au

A collection of plastic bottles caught in an Eddy in Beacon Cove prompted an extra clean up on Saturday.   23 bottles and 18 bags of plastic rubbish were removed.
