3188 BeachPatrol - Hampton

 

Hampton beach is a long beach covering from Green Point in the North to the Sanding ham Yacht club on the southern end. Come and join fellow community members of Hampton to maintain our beautiful beach. We meet once a month for one hour then go for a coffee and chat afterwards. A great way to meet like minded people.

3188 Beach Clean January 2020 by 3188@beachpatrol.com.au

To launch 2020 the Hampton Beach Patrol team were back at Green Point carpark area as our destination for our January clean. It was very wet and cold morning, unfortunatly it was also pouring with rain. Despite the bad weather, Hampton beach patrol team managed to collect 32.9kgs of rubbish; 142 recyclables, 800 cigarette butts and no syringes. A massive Thank you to the 11 brave volunteers who were able to come along to help keep our beaches clean. 

Most interesting items found Large pink bean bag, Vaccum Cleaner, Frame of Marquee Tent and one dangerous looking fishing knife. 

Our Next Clean, Hampton Beach Patrol is heading to Small Street on Sunday the 2nd of Febuary 2020, starting at 9 am till 10 am. Anyone is welcome to join us. 

Hampton BeachPatrol conducts Corporate cleans by information@beachpatrol.com.au

Between them they collected 33 kg, 23 BP bags. This included, 25 glass bottles, 10 plastic bottles, 13 cans, 21 coffey cups.

3188 Beach Clean December 2019 by 3188@beachpatrol.com.au

Celebrating another year to finish 2019 with Hampton Beach Patrol's Christmas party at the coffee shop on Jetty Road. Volunteers who attended were given a small gift to say Thank you for their efforts. It was a very cold and windy day, and winter coats were required. A hot drink was required to warm our hands which was warmly welcomed. Hampton Beach patrol group headed back to the Dog Beach next to the Sandringham Yacht club  9.1kgs of rubbish was collected: 10 recyclables and no syringes. Thanks to the 10 volunteers who were able to come along to help keep our beaches clean. This month Hampton Beach Patrol welcomed one new member.
