3186 Beach Patrol

3186 Beach Patrol members keep the beaches and piers clear of litter in an area that ranges from New Street in Brighton to Head Street at Elwood.

Members pledge one hour of voluntary cleaning per month and also join in group clean-ups on a regular basis throughout the year.

We are a family friendly group that includes people of all ages from young on up.  We share a passion to keep our beaches rubbish free and safe for all to enjoy. 

Since our formation in 2013 we have had generous grant support from Bayside City Council through a series of grants that helped to establish and maintain the group.

3186Beachpatrol at work in June by admin

We had another great result today. Thank you again to all those who contributed. With perfect weather, we had a solid turn-out of over 30 volunteers, who contributed to further improving our Bayside community beaches.

3186Beachpatrol Joins in on Clean Up Australia Day by admin

The 3186 Volunteers came together for CUAD to clean up the Brighton beaches.  A dozen large bags were filled with collected rubbish and removed from the beaches there.
