3018 Altona Beach Patrol - Clean Up Australia Day!!

3018 Altona Beach Patrol, our second event together and another big success!!

 

Another awesome result, over 40 people helped Clean Up Altona Beach!

In one hour, we removed;

- Over 86kg of rubbish!

- Over 100 bottles and cans!...

- Over 1700 cigarette butts - yuck!

Big thanks to everyone who helped make a difference and clean up our beautiful Altona Beach!

3018 off with a hiss and a roar
Altona's inaugural beach patrol attracted fifty people and gathered twenty-seven bags of litter with a weight of ninety-six kilograms.  While numbers were boosted by visitors from Werribee, Williamstown and Port Melbourne beach patrols, the turn out at the kick off bodes well for the future of the 3018 team.
