Less than 5kgs of rubbish and 30 recyclables this month! We had 5 volunteers pull on their gloves and enjoy the glorious spring day. With the weather warming up again we expect a spike in rubbish - however the number of cigarette butts has still been high over the cooler months!

Williamstown beach was super clean this weekend but we know with the nice weather forecast, more people will enjoy the beach and potentially bring litter πŸ– so if you head to the beach this week please #take3 for the sea!

April Clean Up
Well the wind was crisp and the water chilly but that didn’t keep 26 superstars away from another epic beach clean 😜 In 60 minutes we picked up 24.5 kgs of litter, 6kgs of which were recyclables (92 bottles and cans). As per usual we found some random and rad stuff, including our first message in a bottle - sending love and warm thoughts to M.M whoever and wherever you are! Thanks to all of our litter legends and all of our followers, it’s so great to live in a community where so many people want to make a difference.
