Spring is in the air at this time of year, but thankfully the hordes are not out on the beach as yet.  The bulk of the beach is cleanish but the edges and bushes are littered.

Elwood beach patrol's July clean up was a pleasure to attend with the sun shining down on us! We had a successful clean, collecting 18.5kg of litter between 16 people, more than 1 kilo each.  This was a great effort as most of the litter was small fragments.

The next clean up will be on Saturday 13th April 2016 at Head Street Jetty.
