3193 August 2018 Ricketts Point Beach Clean
A bit of a blustery morning but the sun was out for us during the beach clean! 26 volunteers came along to help clean up the beach at Beaumaris Yacht Club, Ricketts Point - thank you everyone for all your efforts. We had one member travel from Wheeler's Hill via 3 buses - what dedication! 

In total we collected 16 bags of litter estimated at 35 kg in weight. Most common items were; micro-plastics, nurdles, polystyrene and cigarette butts

3193 July 2018 Ricketts Point Beach Clean
All in there were 5 of you that made it on the wet and wild morning to clean up the beach at Beaumaris life saving club, well done! One full bag of litter was collected estimated at 9 Kg in weight. Most common items were; straws, polystyrene and cigarette butts. Recyclables; we collected 5 plastic bottles and 1 can.

3193 Beach Clean Ricketts Point - 2 June 2018
There were 29 of us cleaning up the beach yesterday at Black Rock, south of Half Moon Bay. Great to see lots of families participating and enjoying the sunshine and calm conditions. We collected 30 bags of litter in total and roughly 85 Kg in weight (due to some large and heavy items e.g. a tyre, umbrella, wood, clothing and glass bottles).

3193 Beach Clean Ricketts Point - May 2018
A great attendance yesterday with 30 of us cleaning the beach at Ricketts Point near the Yacht Club. It may be autumn but it was still a lovely morning! 17 bags of litter were collected in total, roughly 38 Kg in weight.

3193 April 2018 Ricketts Point Beach Clean
Great weather again during this month's beach clean. There were 21 of us cleaning up along Seaweed Beach at Ricketts Point. We removed 19 bags of litter in total, roughly 46 Kg in weight. A big thank you to everyone's efforts and doing such a fab job.

3193 Beach Clean Ricketts Point & CUAD!
Spectacular turn out at this month's special clean up with Clean Up Australia Day. A gorgeous morning and such a calm sea!! We had over 40 volunteers help clean up the beach near Beaumaris Yacht Club. Everyone together managed to collect 17 bags of litter, roughly 34 Kg in weight. 

Most common items were plastic fragments, cigarette butts and polystyrene material.

3193 Beach Clean Ricketts Point - Feb 2018
It was a beautiful morning for the first beach clean of the year! A great turn out of 34 volunteers with 4 new families joining in that have recently signed up! 19 bags of litter were collected and a few larger items (tin of paint - unopened and part of a car wheel arch!), totaling about 55Kg in weight.

3193 Ricketts Point November Beach Clean 2017
Many thanks to everyone for their tremendous efforts this month, we had 26 volunteers down at Half Moon bay. Overall, 28 full bags of litter were collected, roughly 60Kg in weight.

3193 Ricketts Point October beach clean
It was a glorious morning at Ricketts Point! 24 of our volunteers got stuck in to clean up Seaweed beach. Overall, 10 full bags of litter were collected, roughly 28Kg in weight. The most common items of litter were cigarette butts, small plastic fragments, confectionery/chip bags and straws.
