Well done to our group of 30 volunteers that came at Mpavillion on Sunday 17 November 2019. Once again we have showerd that the Docklands community cares and wants rubbish off the streets. Thank you for your passion and efforts. 

 

Here are the results from one hour of hunting down the litter in Docklands:

44 bags collected (34 rubbish and 10 containers), including:
17 kg rubbish
16.2 kg containers
3 kg cig butts (approx. 8800)
 

Total number of containers: 73
Number of syringes: 0

Our last event for the year will be on Sunday 1st December 2019 9am to 1pm, joining Ocean Crusaders on their last Paddle for Plastic event at Moonee Ponds Creek in Docklands. We start at the carpark under Bolte Bridge behind Ron Barasi Snr Park.
