What a great turnout we had this Sunday! Thank you to all who attended and shared the event online, in their school newsletters and through other media. We made a very significant (be it belated) contribution to Clean Up Australia Day, so, yay us!
In just an hour, 54 of us collected nearly 100 containers (glass, metal and plastic) and 40 kilos of rubbish from the beach and neighbouring streets.
The next clean up will be on 14 April, 3-4 pm at our usual spot on the Esplanade near the pier. Bring yourself, your family and/or a friend and let's make sure we're all very 'present' in our bright green t-shirts so people can see litter doesn't just magically disappear.
Did you already have a chance to see and share our latest animated video? Definitely check that one out: https://www.facebook.com/groups/416332805242915/
We hope to see you there on Sunday 14 April!
