It was a beautiful morning near Seaweed Beach at Ricketts Point, there were 21 of us cleaning up the beach. We removed 19 bags of litter in total, roughly 46 Kg in weight.
A great job by everyone, especially as a lot of the rubbish was in and amongst the seaweed. Thanks for all your hard work!
Most common items were plastic fragments, cigarette butts and plastic chip and confectionery bags. The bottles and cans collected were mostly found around the car park areas (11 cans, 11 glass bottles and 22 plastic bottles).
