We had a successful beach clean on Saturday 12 April with 20 members turning up to clean up in the beautiful morning sun!
The rain earlier in the week had washed lots of litter down to the bay. This meant that the waterline along Elwood beach was awash with small plastics and cigarette butts.
Our team collected 23 kg of waste and we completed some surveys for the Baykeeper. The highlight of our clean up this month was the beautiful morning tea provided by Iain and Glennys. It was a gorgeous morning and a good time was had by all!
