Thank you to everyone who came to the final 3191 clean up for 2014 on a hot and sticky morning!  A few enjoyed a cool off in the crystal clear water at the end!  22 bags/8.5kg of rubbish - the weight does not reflect the 100s of pieces of small plastics we found.  Happy Christmas! Happy Holidays!  See you Sun 25 Jan, 2015!

BP - 3193 - Nov 1 clean - thank you

Despite the terrible weather, and the fact that it was the Melbourne Cup long weekend, 25 volunteers turned up, including Ross and Ramona from Beach Patrol Australia, both members of Port Melbourne beach patrol.  Many thanks to you all, and to our visitors!

Sandridge Beach was relatively clean this month with mostly plastic bits caught in the trees and shrubs at the top of the beach.  However a lot of bottles were pulled out of the rock groins with some off the beach it self.  27 volunteers came out on a sunny morning to spend an hour.

71 bottles and cans were collected with another 35 the next day making 106 bottles and cans littered.
